POSITIVE KIDS WORKSHOP
The art of public speaking is important for everyone, including children. It reinforces a child’s confidence and promotes personal development.
​
This workshop aims to help young children develop positive thinking mindsets and the ability to speak confidently and fluently. Each lesson is packed with fun activities designed to train the children's public speaking skills, such as show & tell, role play, presentation, making a speech and mini debate!
​
The theme for this workshop is 'Empathy & Mindfulness'. Through readings, discussions and engaging speaking activities, the students will also learn about the importance of being empathetic and mindful, and how to apply them in their everyday decision making.
Ms. Amanda Felix, our trainer for this workshop, is an engaging and inspiring English and Speech and Drama teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience.

GLOBAL THINKERS WORKSHOP
Critical thinking and communication skills are important 21 century skills that all learners need to master in order to succeed in school and life. The ability to think critically and communicate ideas clearly are the most sought-after skills in almost every industry and workplace.

Join our 5-day workshops and learn how to be a Critical Thinker and Effective Communicator!

In these workshops, we will cover a wide array of topics, such as gender equality, global chips shortage, travelling during COVID-19 and cryptocurrencies! Lots of fun and engaging activities are planned with the aims of challenging the students to think critically and practice their persuasive speaking skills. The students will learn to build their own civilisation, play jury, engage in simulated trading economy, give a diplomat speech, debate and more!

This workshop will be conducted by experienced debate trainers from Podium Academy. Certificate of completion and written feedback reports are provided after the workshop.

DEBATE WORKSHOP
Debate classes are excellent platforms for students to learn how to be effective communicators while developing their critical thinking, listening and collaborative skills. It is also a good way for students to build self-esteem and develop worldview.
This 5-day workshop introduces student to the basics of debating - format, terminology, etiquette etc. They will learn how to form and create persuasive arguments & effective rebuttals, and apply them to a range of social, economics, space and digital security topics, such as the concept of Universal Basic Income, the myth of online anonymity, brain drain, how Facebook seek to build a metaverse etc.

This workshop will be conducted by experienced debate trainers from Podium Academy. Certificate of completion and written feedback reports are provided after the workshop.

SCIENCE WORKSHOP
During this 3-day Science Workshop, the students will learn about the discovery & science behind inventions such as binocular, hydraulic press, vacuum cleaner & airplane!​
​
This workshop will be conducted by qualified and trained teachers from Science Bridge Academy. The fee includes the Science Kits for 6 hands on activities, which will be delivered to the students' house before the start of the workshop.
